We’ve all heard some variation of “don’t let history repeat itself”, warning us against falling into old habits. And the people who are so abrasive against history doing this recurring thing must gag on chokers being back in style. Chokers has got to be one of the most overdone trends. It lead as a sweeping pop-culture fashion trend for almost an entire decade and it’s been totally overdone by both our favorite childhood and adulthood celebs.

They are a style that cuts across many cultures–African, Indian and Western among them–and class lines.
