Would it be so presumptuous to assume as a plus-size woman- there is a high chance you have ran through almost every new diet to hit the scene- in a very desperate yet calculating attempt to trim down to fit inside that dress sitting in the back of your closet? But let’s look into a few things.
Have you tried these diets simply to lose weight or were you considering your long term health? Although, you can certainly be trim and unhealthy, you can also be plus-size and actually healthy. In no capacity, is this an attempt to promote obesity- but only to make a valid point- your overall wellness is not determined by your weight- alone. On the other hand, what you put into your body does matter.
With new findings surfacing on processed foods and global concerns on meat and poultry, choosing the right food for your daily diet can almost be as daunting as trying to choose between two pairs of Jimmy Choo shoes- when you really want both.
There’s a great concern on what we should and should not be putting in our bodies. Processed foods and additives have been linked to causing cancer and other diseases. While poultry and meats have been genetically engineered to be larger in size but offer less nutrients than that of organic poultry and meats. With all these concerns about food, it makes us wonder what foods are good enough for our bodies to consume that will have positive long-term effects on our bodies.
Eating alkaline foods are said to prevent various cancers and inflammatory diseases. Loosely defined, alkaline foods, and alkaline itself helps to create a balance in the body fighting acid while maintaining positive pH levels in body fluids. Generally, diseases in the body form from body fluids (mucous) and diseases can only exist in an acidic environment.
Alkaline Diets method of disease is that it discovers it genesis when and in which the mucous membrane has been jeopardized. For example, if there is excess mucous within the lungs, the disease is Pneumonia; within the pancreatic duct, it is Diabetes; within the joints Arthritis; and the most severe blood excess would be a form of cancer.
