GOING FROM YOUR 20’S TO YOUR 30’S IN STYLE…

Dressing to suit your age can be such a nuisance if you haven’t a clue on how to identify your “adult” sense of style. Fortunately for you we’ve discovered a group of exceptionally stylish hauties who have invited the world to witness “30 Plus Style”, a group of plus size fashion bloggers taking you on a fashionably insightful journey; exploring age-appropriate style.

PUMPS AND STUDZDelilah D, Founder of 30 Plus Style

“30 Plus Style” is composed of six bloggers from different regions of the world who have banded for a common goal; “Our goal was simply to show that plus size bloggers over 30 do exist, style is not limited by age or size, and collaboration is better than competition.”, says 30 Delilah D, Founder of 30 Plus Style. The birth of 30 Plus Style has created unbreakable bonds and friendships.

But it’s not only the strength in the bonds that has kept this blog party alive, but the willingness to collaborate and be reliable to commit to the a bi-weekly fashion series. As blog member, Nefferth Bernadina says:

Like any new group we had to find our own dynamic. We all live in different time zones ( I live in the Netherlands) and have jobs or families to attend to. Joining 30 Plus Style as a regular meant taking on new responsibilities. From the start we had an open communication: addressing the practicability of embarking this adventure. Who is going to do what? If we wanted it to be a success we had to begin with a structure. I’m proud to say that I’m a part of a group of intelligent and diligent women. It feels like a sisterhood you know what I mean, when you are in college?

The group members include- Joi Smith of In My Joi, Nefferth Bernadina of Mode-Plus, Delilah D. of Pumps And Studz, Georgette of Grown And Curvy, Jeniese Hosey of The Je Ne Sais Quoi, and Pepper Martin of Pretty Plus Pep; all of whom are all too familiar with appropriating innovative style for your roaring 30’s.

Transitioning your style can be one of the most overwhelming challenges as a woman. In life, there is so much free reign to experiment with different looks. Our 20’s are usually so daring and fun, and then something sets in once 30 begins creeping up. It’s like this almost indescribable feeling where…the realization sets in that our 20’s won’t last forever, we don’t want to look “old”, but we still want to maintain the vibrant dynamics of style without being mistaken for someone who is attempting to relive her young adult years. When talking about transitional style for plus size women on the verge of welcoming their 30’s there would be no other source to consult but the 30 Plus Size Style Bloggers.
