If there is anything I would splurge on, it would be shoes! It’s very rare that I find a great pair of shoes at a great price that are both fashionable and functional. I mean the odds of finding all of those qualities in one beautiful pair of soles is just almost a miracle. Regardless, of whether or not I have anything to wear with them- if I am at a store and I see an awesome shoe in my size, and it’s a reasonably priced (whatever I’m carrying in my wallet at the time) I will definitely GO for the purchase! Reason being…at my size, great shoes are hard to come by. Luckily, for me and all the other hauties who wear extended size shoes, I’m finding  more shoe designers opening up style options and are catering to us  extended sole babes.

Recently, highlighted on The Wendy Show– Sarah Jessica Parker, (Yes! Sex in the City’s very own Ms. Carrie Bradshaw) will be introducing her new chic line of pumps and t-straps, affectionately named SJP.  Sold exclusively at Nordstrom, SJP shoes will run up to size 11 and will be available for sale beginning on February 28th. Her shoes are more on the high end side ranging from $195-$500, but OH are they worth the purchase.

Another shoe designer, on the higher end Stuart Weitzman carries shoes up to size 12 with a wide width.  I found a couple of websites that give you a great selection and and even better price range to choose from, low to high. JildorShoes.com specializes in shoes sizes 4-12 and includes special widths as well. This site allows you to purchase high end designer shoes, such as the previous mentioned brands, and other trendy brands starting at $60.

LLXLLQ out of Italy, provides handmade, “irresistibly, beautiful, chic, and fashionable shoes” that are strictly for sizes 10-12. The price point is moderate ranging from $120-$275.

Another site is ShiekhShoes.com. Their selection of shoes go up to size 16 and are very trendy with low to moderate price points, depending on what you are looking for.

While I have been known to have an addiction to shoes, I more often have little-to-no luck finding great shoes that will make my size 11 look as good as everything else I have on.  On your your quest to find the perfect shoes, I’m hoping these sites work out!
